Dino Falls Celebrates Record Breaking Summer and 100,000th Round!
Now nearing its first birthday, Manchester’s Jurassic themed mini golf attraction, Dino Falls Adventure Golf is celebrating a record breaking summer following the 100,000th round on the 18-hole course.
Reporting a 130% increase in footfall during the school summer holidays and a new record of 1,424 rounds in just one day, the dinosaur mini-golf course is now a must-do activity in Manchester for families, friends and couples across the North West.
The Rawlings-Brown family from Cheshire were the lucky players to bag the 100,000th round on the course. To celebrate the achievement, the family of four received a complimentary annual pass from Director of Golf, Pete Styles.
Kate Rawlings-Brown said: “We really didn’t expect to be playing the 100,000th round – we were so surprised! My children are aged between five and eight and they love everything about Dino Falls - we hope it will encourage them to take up golf as future hobby.”
Gigantic moving (and roaring!) dinosaurs, including a Tyrannosaurus Rex, feature around the course, which is set around a winding river and huge cascading waterfall. The site, which opened in November 2017, also features a ‘Selfie-osaurus’ for capturing memorable moments.
Pete Styles, Director of Golf at Trafford Golf Centre and Dino Falls Adventure Golf, said: “The busy footfall this summer at Dino Falls has exceeded all expectations and we’re thrilled to have celebrated the 100,000th round with the Rawlings-Brown family.”
“Our location, pricing and extended open hours are all contributing factors to the success of the attraction as we appeal to a whole host of dinosaur and mini golf fans. Throughout the autumn and winter, there will be a variety of events for customers to enjoy including a Halloween themed spectacular.”
Dino Falls offers educational activity books and work spaces for school classes or parties, along with fact-finding around the site, to fit with the school curriculum.
